Nothing to hand? Load the — a dark-acid Tailwind page with a purple-to-pink gradient hero, 01/02/03 markers and buzzword copy, headed for a templated verdict — or the , a sea-kayaking tide planner where the correct verdict is distinctive and the useful output is what to protect.
Paste the page — the prescan is free
No upload, no AI: the prescan reads your source in the browser and extracts what is actually there — every color literal (hex, rgb, hsl and the common Tailwind utilities), every font family, the border-radius scale, gradient use — then checks fourteen template signals: the three known AI-default looks (warm-cream serif, dark ground with an acid accent, hairline broadsheet), the default type stack, one face for every role, numbered 01/02/03 markers, gradient accents and the purple-to-pink special, glassmorphism, one-radius-everywhere, big-number heroes, buzzword copy, and two quality-floor checks — visible keyboard focus and a reduced-motion guard.
The design lead rules on it — this is the metered part
A studio-crit pass over the same code: a verdict — distinctive, leaning generic, or templated — the default cluster named, six axis readings (color, typography, layout, structure, motion, copy), findings that each quote the verbatim line they rest on with a concrete fix, and a keep list, because a review that only tears down is useless. Every prescan signal must be confirmed or explicitly overruled with a reason — a serif on cream that your brief asked for is a choice, not a finding. Pricing is honest: a worst-case amount is reserved before the run and only what the run uses is charged; the meter next to the button shows both.
Take the direction, revise, re-check for free
The review ends in a direction, not a scolding: a 4–6 color palette named from your subject's own world, a display/body/utility type pairing with the reasoning, a layout concept, the one signature element the page should be remembered by, motion guidance and copy notes. Take it out in the form that fits what you do next — a revision brief written as instructions for a coding agent, carrying every fix with the line it rests on and the keep list as explicit do-not-touch constraints; a tokens.css with the palette, the type pairing, where to get each typeface and the wiring that makes pasting it actually change something (plus the Tailwind @theme and config form when your code is Tailwind-classed); or Markdown, JSON, a findings CSV and print. Apply it, paste the revised code back in, and the prescan diffs the template signals in the browser for free — cleared, still open, changed but still firing, newly introduced — counted by signal type, so nudging a value inside a signal that still fires is never reported as a win. Reviews are saved to your SkillSafe account when you are signed in, and follow you to your other devices.
